When you enter the world of Body Alchemy, you get to be soft, you get to go slow, and you get to actually become in tune with your body. When was the last time you asked your body what she needed? When was the last time you asked your body anything? Have you ever spoken to her? What’s your relationship like with your body?
At Body Alchemy we seek to foster your relationship with your body, not just pose you all pretty to get the shot.
Instead of rigid posing, you will be guided through gentle, intuitive movements.
Paying attention to sensations your body is feeling,
to what feels grounding, to what feels good, to what feels soft, to what feels accessible.
Can you tap into a feeling of aliveness?
We don't jump straight in front of a camera.
We pause.
We breathe.
We let your body settle into the room so you can drop out of your head, stop worrying about "doing it right," and actually arrive.
When you arrive, we take care of everything.
You’ll settle in with full professional hair and makeup tailored to pamper you.
Plus, access to our curated client closet, so you don't have to think about bringing a single thing...
unless you want to.
Upon booking, you’ll receive a somatic welcome guide to help you begin landing in your body long before you walk through the studio doors.
We start slowing down, building safety, and planning your wardrobe together so you feel entirely prepared weeks ahead of time.
Before you walk out the door, we make sure you know how to tap back into that connection on your own.
The point of this experience isn't just to feel good in the studio,
it's learning how to land back to that feeling of aliveness whenever you need it in your daily life.
And I mean that respectfully. No shade to any boudoir photographer out in the world.
Their work is beautiful. Their clients are beautiful.
What I mean when I say that is that a lot of the drive behind traditional boudoir is about a temporary high and patriarchal standards.
To look good.
To have angles hide your 'problem areas'.
But what happens when the magic of that type of photoshoot eventually fades?
Would you be capable of creating that magic within yourself again?
Would you know how to resource back inside yourself to bring forth the magic you felt that day?
This is what I mean when I say that
I’m a somatic boudoir photographer.
If you've been searching for a Denver boudoir photographer who offers more than rigid poses and heavy editing, welcome home.
At Body Alchemy, we believe your photoshoot should feel like a return to self, not another studio photoshoot that's go go go. We intentionally leave time to arrive and land in your body, as well as this experience, and we move throughout our time together with ease, laughter, and probably a few dance parties.
Our studio sessions are crafted around somatic practices, grounding breathwork, and uninhibited self-expression. Whether you're celebrating a major life milestone, reconnecting with your sensuality, or simply honoring your body as it is today, we guide you every step of the way.
Your experience includes your somatic welcome guide, pre-session wardrobe styling, full professional hair and makeup at the studio, access to our client closet, and a 90 minute photoshoot.
The Experience Fee | $399

Somatic stems from the Greek word soma, which literally means BODY.
Somatic = of, relating to, or affecting the body.
Boudoir does not exist without your body. So why are we taking surface-level pictures during a surface-level experience?
Why settle for that when we could be expanding into a greater sense of presence and understanding within ourselves and our bodies… WHILE also creating art with our bodies?
Posing to look good for the camera
A temporary boost that fades over time
Stiff, held positions
Resulting in a pretty photograph
Grounding into how you feel in your skin
Teaches you how to resource safety and pleasure within
Slow, soft movement guided by your body
Resulting in a lasting relationship with your body and beautiful imagery
While you are sinking into that softness and paying attention to what your body feels, we create the art together.
This is a collaborative space.
You focus on being present in your skin, and together we translate that feeling into some seriously stunning photographs.
